A video startup called PM Sports was trying to appeal to a young male audience by fusing comedy and sports. In anticipation of the U.S. Open, they asked me and my brother to write a funny sketch that would resonate with tennis fans. This video got the most views on their site that summer. (I play Clyde on the right!)
We wrote customized material to roast the legendary Dennis Rodman—live at the Friars Club in New York!
Project:
Together with my twin brother / comedy writing partner, I co-created a mostly comedic web series that explores our very similar, yet somewhat divergent lives, when one twin (myself) comes out of the closet in his early 30s. It was screened at four film festivals across the country and received acknowledgements from six others. And our mom loved it!
In support of a truTV show called ‘‘How To Be a Grownup,’’ we created a series of online promo videos where we responded to question about what grownups should or should not do. It was called ‘‘Grown up, Grown down’’ and it helped create excitement for the show.
For an awareness campaign, Weber Shandwick asked me and my brother to play “Owen & Payne’’, the ridiculous partners of an accounting firm. In a series of tacky injury attorney- style commercials, we inform viewers about our country’s massive national debt.
